Well I’ve had this route planned out on may OS Explorer map for some time but today I walked it. A truly awesome, enjoyable walk from Draycott to Marpool using footpaths.
I found that in Risley heading to Stanton By Dale there is a nature reserve! Lovely footpaths going through this then across a golf course leading to Kirk Hallam whee I joined the Nutbrook Trail which lead right upto about a 1000 yards from Marpool Brewery, the intended destination.
Once there I was greeted by Andy the landlord who proceeded to pull a pint of Blind Borris!!!! The walk was like I said awesome but having this lovely nectar just took the day to another level!
I will be re walking this walk again! Probably soon!!!!!
